Who am I

What personal data I collect and why I collect it

Emails and Contact forms

If you email me or submit a contact form through the website, I collect your name, email address and any other information you provide. I will use this information to communicate with you and to respond to your enquiry.  I will also retain this information for administrative purposes, but  do not use it for marketing.

Marketing

If you choose to subscribe to my newsletter, I use MailChimp as my marketing automation platform. By subscribing to my newsletter, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to MailChimp in order for me to manage my email list and send out newsletters.  All data processing in MailChimp is carried out in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms, which can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

I will only ever use the data you provide to communicate with you about my business and only share data with third parties that I use to provide my services. I do not share your data with any other third party for other purposes such as marketing or advertising.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that are stored on your computer by your web browser. I use cookies to help my website work correctly, for example to allow you to set up a customer account on the site and make purchases. I do not use third-party advertising, marketing or tracking cookies and do not share data with or participate in third-party marketing networks.

My website may use Google Analytics in order to help us gather information about how the site is used, how many visitors it receives and where they may be located in the world.  To do this, Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as visitors' IP addresses.  This data is only used to allow me to analyse the usage and performance of the website and is not shared with any other third party.

Online Shopping and Payments

In order to provide online shopping services, my website is built on the Bluepark e-commerce system. When you place an order, I collect your name, address, email address and the details of the products that you require. This information is used to process your order and provide you with my services and is not shared with any third party other than my payment processor.

Payments are processed through Stripe or Paypal. Data such as your name, address, email address and a summary of your order are passed to the payment processor, who then handles your payment.  Payment card information is handled exclusively by the payment processing system and I do not see or keep any record of your card details. Who we share your data with

I only share your data with companies that I use to provide this website or additional services upon which I rely.  I do not share data with third party advertising networks or other organisations that are not directly involved in providing my services.

How long I retain your data

For customers that register on my website, I store the personal information that you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that I erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes (e.g. business information required to be kept by legislative or regulatory bodies such as HMRC, etc.)

Where I send your data

Email list management for newsletter subscribers is provided by MailChimp.

Website analytics are provided by Google Analytics.

For online purchases, payment processing is provided by Stripe and Paypal.

How I protect your data

Data held by my service providers is maintained in secure commercial data centres with regular backups and security audits.  Only users or personnel with a legitimate need to access such data are permitted to do so and user access is limited by measures such as secure passwords or two-factor authentication systems.

In the unlikely event of a data breach, system and access logs will allow the extent and nature of the breach to be determined and any further data loss to be blocked.  Anyone affected by such a data breach will be kept fully informed as to the nature and extent of any data that may have been released.

I do not receive identifiable personal data from any third parties.

I do not carry out any user profiling.
